Style / method of spray tanning - different ways of doing it

Hi all,
I have been trained by Sienna X and really enjoyed training, I use a T100 for my spray tans.
I want to check I am definitely doing the correct method, I apply the spray fairly close to the skin, in particular strokes so I am joining up all the gaps - almost as if I am spray painting something! I do it quite close so I am not wasting any solution.
I had a spray tan done last night, by a lady who was trained by a different company and she was spraying in all different directions, not in any order and almost in circles over me.
Any thoughts / feedback as to your experiences would be much appreciated?
xx

Most techs, regardless of who they are trained with, will mostly find their own technique of spraying. Mostly you will stick to how you are trained but you may find you tweak it a little to suit you. I have been tanning for many years now and have my own routine. I do the back, one side, the front and then the other side. I do one even coat and then a quick mist over a second time just to be sure. . . I turn my machine up a little and move my gun slightly further away as its not a full second coat. xx

I was taught by Solglo and they taught me completely different to the vids i've watched on utube. I spray up the body horizontally then vertically to make sure every area is covered as that's the way I was taught. Must be using more solution tho. :/

Hi , I was taught to start at shoulder and and go diagonally / \ sweeping across the body, but now do it in circular motions quicker and dont waste much solution. :o) x
