new to tanning!!
By: beau tan | Posted on: 16/03/2010 18:51

Hi everyone! ! I'm new to spray tanning and still yet to do my first tanning party, i have people wanting to book but i only did my training last week, so i want to build my confidence by practicing on friends & family before i go out doing it on the public. I'm just wondering if anybody could give me some helpful tips about doing partys? Which room of the house do you normally do the tanning? I worry about damaging carpets or furniture in the living room, but i would think this will be the biggest room in the house to put the tent up? Also do you sell aftercare products at the partys or give party bags out? Or just go and do the tans and leave? any tips will be appreciated, Many thanks guys! ! ! X

I have one of the new fans from this site and it works a treat, so I don't have to worry about over spray. The only product I sell to my customers is the tan extender in 100ml bottles, I find it is affordable for my customers and I make a few quid on it. Best place is a kitchen, as the light is always better in there.

I sell before and after care products at my spray tanning parties. A lot of the girls rebook with me for individual sessions and future parties. My top sellers are Ambush and Body Armor. I can not keep those two products in stock. Parties wipe me out every time. I also provide a free spray tan to the host of the party, as long as they have 5 or more people. I then ask the group who else wants to host a party and I let the future hosts know of the deal. Ask the host which room to set up the tent in. You might be surprised at the space they choose.
